Integration Architect

Job Description:

We seek to hire an Integration Architect member of the Enterprise Architecture team who has the technical and leadership skills required to advance Albemarle's digital business transformation goals. The Integration Architect will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in-depth knowledge of integration products, best practices, and industry trends. The position will collaborate closely with various IT teams (i.e., IT Asset Management (ITAM), Security and Compliance, Enterprise Business Systems, Collaboration, and Network & Infrastructure) to integrate 3rd party applications, scoped applications, develop custom integration solutions, and deliver world-class integration capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience with integrations across various platforms, including ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Azure, Workday, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Active member on Albemarle Architecture Review Board, contributing towards integration technology decisions and recommendations
  • Work closely with our business partners and technical SMEs to define and implement required integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub, Service Graph Connector, and other integration tools
  • Be responsible for the implementation, ongoing enhancements, support, and the health of the integrations
  • Establish and advance API strategy, with an emphasis on connected cloud applications
  • Ensure best practices are enforced and that advanced configurations don't endanger future upgrades and system performance
  • Provide guidance, troubleshooting support, and fix complex production integration incidents, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain integration patterns and reference architectures, and guide project teams on appropriate usage
  • Lead/contribute to the evaluation/execution of ServiceNow upgrades, reviewing the impact on integrations and making changes as needed
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and peers, including strong writing skills to draft and publish internal technical documentation, SOP's, architectural specifications, business cases, etc.
  • Participate in the entire hardware and software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar. ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
  • 3 years of development/configuration experience on the ServiceNow platform, including:
    • Integration Hub/Service Graph Connectors/Orchestration/Flow Designer
    • Mid Server
    • ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/HAM/SAM/APM
  • 3 years of experience in the development and implementation of API/Web Services and/or modern integration strategy, identifying and defining common integration design patterns, and creating and managing reusable integration components
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing integration standards with business enablement platforms and applications such as Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Workday
  • Knowledge of Identity Management solutions, such as Microsoft Identity Management, would be a benefit
  • Knowledge of the latest IT, cloud, and security architectures is a plus
  • Enterprise software development experience, leveraging SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
  • Excellent organization skills and an ability to develop and implement plans for major issues and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple activities
  • Resourceful takes the initiative to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Works well in a team environment and is comfortable with an extremely fast pace, switching priorities, and multitasking.
