The Global Quality Manager Role is a member of Fab Construction Enterprise. You will be responsible for facilitating the Quality Management Program for the entire FCE Organization, across a matrix of employees managing capital projects at all Virtual Factory (VF) sites (Arizona, Oregon, California, Ireland, and Israel) in any given year of greater than 2B dollars with a worldwide contractor workforce of contingent workers encompassing outsourced general contractors, A/E Architecture and Engineering firms, and key trade companies in the Semiconductor and Office Building Construction Industry.

Our challenge in Intel Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) is to deliver very complex construction projects in these LIVE manufacturing facilities safely and on schedule. Ensuring zero unplanned Interruptions to Production (ITP's) is critical for both safety and avoiding loss of production capacity, missed commitments to customers and revenue. To ensure success we insist on detailed work plans, risk assessments and rigorous attention to detail and adherence to process. In an effort to create a robust ITP prevention planning program, we are seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Construction Quality Program.

The position reports to the Director of Construction and in this role, the person will be accountable for working with Key Stakeholders (Site Leads, Organizational Management) to drive ITP reduction strategies across the globe. The role will involve leadership of a Cross-Site/VF Team responsible for development and tracking of key indicators, driving consistent data reporting, and implementing strategies focused on maximizing production uptime and minimizing construction related impacts to operating factories. The Construction Quality Program Manager will need to work closely with FCE Site Representatives, Design Team, and Environmental

This is an Intel Contract Employee (ICE) position and the location is Oregon  and relocation assistance will be provided.

As an Intel Construction Quality Program Manager  your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leverage the Virtual Factory (VF) network to identify current Intel ITP reduction/prevention Best Known Methods (BKMs) and drive implementation across the global Intel Sites.
  • Coordinate with Central Corporate Services Quality Team on classifications for impactive events.
  • Develop leading indicators that will be used to measure the health of the program and progress against Interruption To Production (ITP) reduction strategies
  • Develop data management plans to streamline data inputs, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Manage Virtual Factory (VF)/Cross-site Team to develop, track, and report-out on standard indicators.
  • Analyze incident trends and work with VF Representatives to develop continuous improvement strategies targeted at reducing unplanned production impacts.
  • Coordinate with Site Directors of Construction, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Leads, and EHS Manager on program strategies.
  • Partner with EHS Organization on strategies that overlap with Safety indicators, programs, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Provide program updates to Org Level and Sr. Management Representatives.
  • Coordinate with central teams on tracking progress against organizational reduction goals.
  • Drive cross-site sharing of incidents and learnings in an effort to eliminate repeat events/impacts.
  • Coordinate with other cross-site teams to secure team participation and ownership for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop strategy for quarterly site audits and coordinate with site representatives to conduct site based audits measure effectiveness and health of site ITP Programs.
  • Establish ITP Program training strategy for new Sites and new team members.
  • Manage across diverse groups and stakeholders while optimizing the solutions for Intel.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field with 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor, high-tech industry, or as a: project manager or design manager or engineering manager or construction manager or equivalent construction leadership or project management expertise.

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field with 6+ years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry as a: project manager or design manager or engineering manager or construction manager or equivalent construction leadership or project management expertise.

  • Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry as a: project manager or design manager or engineering manager or project management expertise
