Job Description

We have an opening for a talented power and performance validation and optimization engineer for Intel server and client products. As a Core Analysis and Optimization engineer, you will be responsible for the CPU Core characterization, in terms of power and performance optimization. In addition, you will identify opportunities and drive improvement by analyzing silicon behavior. Measurements will take place using different operating systems (Windows, Linux), cutting edge tools and equipment. You will be part of a dynamic team, where each team member is given a wide variety of responsibilities. You will learn and become proficient in power management, performance analysis, CPU architecture, debugging processes, automation using Python, etc.This position is part of the Core PnP lab, which is subject to the Architecture and Design Team (C2DG): the leader in planning, engineering and designing the next generation of Intel CPU products that impact Intel's roadmap, through close and fruitful teamwork.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Complex problem-solving capabilities
Responsible
Open-minded with a thirst for knowledge

Advantages:
Profound OS understanding (WIN, Linux, Unix)
Coding experience (Python, Bash)
Solid comprehension of CPU architecture and machine language
Power delivery experience
