Intel's product development department is in search of an experienced engineer to join our growing discrete graphics team and deliver Intel's next generation supercompute projects to our customers. Our team is working on cutting edge exascale compute technology that requires strong engineering capabilities to understand our project's complex digital test strategy in order to define test requirements, develop/manage test strategy and implement test capabilities into our manufacturing test flow and meet coverage/quality requirements. The project dynamics and challenges require someone independently motivated to tackle complex engineering challenges, identify solutions and drive hands-on implementation. This Product Development Engineer (PDE) role provides an opportunity to engage pre/post-silicon in strategic planning for test requirements through Design For Test (DFT) architecture to achieve key project milestones through product release qualification for high volume manufacturability. Additionally, our PDE will collaborate with design, manufacturing, yield and platform validation teams to identify test requirements, dependencies, verify deliverables, ensure accountability, and implement/deliver our quality test coverage for Intel's extensive graphic's roadmap. Team members are expected to coordinate/collaborate with various stakeholders and communicate status/risks/impacts clearly and transparently to our teams, product leads and management.

This position is hybrid at the Folsom sites during the 20-week returnship program.


Qualifications

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 4+ years experience OR a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 2+ years experience

- Simulation/emulation experience/skillset for test development, validation and debug.
- Candidates must have taken a career break for 2 or more years.

Preferred Qualifications
- Silicon manufacturing flow knowledge
- Experience and knowledge of tester platforms
- Experience in JMP and/or similar analytic statistical tools
- Experience in Pre/Post silicon Design For Test (DFT) circuits
- C++/C#/Python/Perl software/scripting experience.

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
