Ignite TLV is the first Ignite location, and the role model for the Ignite global expansion to both Munich, Germany as well as Austin, Texas
The Portfolio Manager will report to the Managing Director of the startup program and be responsible for all the deal flow process, portfolio management as well as the value creation side.
What you will be doing:
Proactively network, attend and present at industry events and scouting meetings
Build and expand network and trust with top tier investors and partners
Source, pre- screen and review new technology startups in Ignite relevant areas; qualify candidates' opportunities
Manage the due-diligence process in areas such as Technology review, financial analysis and modeling, competitive landscape, market size, business/pricing model, and more
Research emerging technology trends and develop theses around them
Subscribe to relevant research and attend relevant industry centric events and maintain research repository for the Ignite team
Work closely with the portfolio companies in order to identify needs, challenges and potential opportunities that will enable fast growth and success
Provide ongoing support, mentorship, advise, and business development for the portfolio companies around their specific individual needs
Track and report key metrics associated with all the portfolio companies, including business progress, follow-on funding, partnership efforts, and innovation exploration
Continuously drive development activities between portfolio companies and internal stakeholders within Intel and partners of Intel to ensure value creation as a strategic partner
Qualifications
A strong technological background, and analytical skills
Experience in Tech investment in a VC or CVC
Experience working with top notch entrepreneur's
Relationship building ability with a large variety of audiences
Pervious engagement in the Israeli startup ecosystem
Ability to represent Intel in external settings and role model culture to external stakeholders
Capability of operating in a fast paced, highly demanding, challenging work environment
Demonstrate innovative and out-of-the-box thinking
Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills in English and the proven ability to communicate ideas effectively, at all levels of management, throughout the organization and externally
Attention to detail and a collaborative approach to sharing insights
Demonstrated strong collaboration skills and proven ability to motivate peers, supervisors and partners to action
Interest in new emerging technologies
Love and passion for the startup community
