CallisonRTKL seeks a senior Interior Designer to join its Commercial Practice Group located in Beijing. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, mixed-use and shopping mall interiors.

Responsibilities

• Supports team members on projects assigned and collaborates with management on a day-to-day basis
• Illustrates conceptual design or design development ideas to the team through free-hand drawing and graphic representation
• Prepares and develops drawings, 3D renderings, design packages and other associated documents in collaboration with the team
• Develops and designs according to a brief that is functional, appealing and appropriate
• Possesses strong technical skills
• Takes responsibility for the development of the design and the project
• Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related design field
• 4+ years of interior design experience
• Professional registration preferred
• Strong verbal and written language skills in both Mandarin and English
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and time efficiently
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as an effective team member
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, InDesign or other design programs
• LEED accredited preferred
