Primary Purpose


Drive industrialization and approval processes for components at suppliers and car plants in Mexico aligned to the worldwide Mercedes-Benz standards and specifications.


Develop proposals for product improvements, localization enhancement or cost reduction and drive them through the development process.



Job Deliverables
- Close work with suppliers and local production plant on Interior/Exterior  components during the industrialization and series phase with the target to ensure the desired maturity and quality of the parts and vehicles.

- Drive continuous improvement for own area of responsibility. Develop proposals for product improvements, localization enhancement or cost reduction and drive them through the development process.
- Generate technical reports for approvals or on specific topics on request.
-  Accompany suppliers and local production plant during process setup, trial production and product approval phase with the target to ensure the industrialization according to MB standards.
- Drive R&D related portion of the parts approval process in close alignment with the related R&D HQ area in Germany.
-  Align technology, methods, and targets with related R&D HQ area in Germany.
- Timely change management information exchange and execution controlling with the suppliers and local production plant in alignment with the project targets and scheduled introduction packages in production.
