Job Title: Storage Products and Solution Development Engineer (Intern)

Summary: The Storage Products and Solution Development engineer is a member of the DELLEMC Growth and Innovation’s contact staff (based in Shanghai) who works with a cross functional team to design, build, validate, and document repeatable, proven cloud, big data, and big data analytics solutions for China partners and ISVs. The role will also require cross training to other staff members on DELLEMC technologies as well as delivering technical presentations at customer and partner meetings.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, install and maintain IaaS (infrastructure as a service), PaaS (platform as a service) and Big Data platforms to support DELLEMC proven solutions for China partners and ISVs
• Design and build China partner and ISV solutions utilizing DELLEMC and 3rd party hardware and software to meet or exceed customer requirements
• Design and execute functional and performance tests, analyze and document results as an integral part of solution deliverables
• Development of appropriate documentation to support DELLEMC Proven Solutions for China partners and ISVs

SKILLS

• Expertise in UNIX, LINUX and/or Windows Operating Systems
• Programming in at least one of Java, Python, Ruby languages
• Knowledge of storage and virtualization
• Communicative and technical writing skills in English
• Deployment, operation and development experience in Database, Hadoop, or any other big data platform would be a strong plus
