Job Description

This is an internship position for a Spring Rotation, expected to start around January 3, 2022 through mid-May 2022 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

The Motorrad Marketing Intern will be exposed to a wide variety of ongoing projects and will be tasked with contributing to the successful completion of these tasks. The student intern will work alongside team members from various areas of the Marketing Department while occasionally collaborating with other areas of the business for a well-rounded experience.


Within the Product and Accessories department, the position focuses on the research and analysis of BMW’s current and future product portfolios in regard to pricing and consumer-relevant features within the competitive landscape. Findings are compiled as presentations and are used for shaping BMW Motorrad’s product and accessory initiatives for the US market. The student intern will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of product information across various channels including, but not limited to, brochures, dealer bulletins, consumer-facing shows and point-of-sale materials, press releases, marketing materials and the consumer website. The intern will also assist with general support in the Sales Planning and Distribution Department, most specifically the pricing and disposal of internal vehicle fleets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university, studying: Marketing / Business.
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application (Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript)
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Additional skills: PowerPoint and Excel proficiency, strong analytical and written communication skills, ability to adapt to a fast-changing business environment.
  • Attributes: Conscientious, motivated, and responsible.  Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written), ability to address groups in meetings.
  • Motorcycle drivers’ license is a plus, as is Powersports industry experience and basic technical knowledge.
