Job Description

This is an internship position expected to start January 3, 2022 through mid-May 2022 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

As the student intern supporting the Corporate Strategy Team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate within the department, other business units, and with our Information Technology colleagues to develop and maintain Confluence sites to track data analytics use cases and activity. The role will also include support as needed for other topics, including the Target Management Process and other Strategic Topics.

The intern will support the Corporate Strategy team, as well as coordinate with different departments within BMW Group on the following topics:

  • Developing and maintaining the Confluence site to track data analytics use cases and activities.
  • Supporting the definition and implementation of the BMW Group US Strategy.
  • Supporting automotive research activities to identify future trends.
  • Supporting the implementation of strategic work packages and projects.
  • Drafting management presentations and strategy communication materials.
  • Supporting the facilitation and documentation of internal workshops. 
  • Supporting the enhancement of the strategy project tracking tool.
  • Supporting the annual Target Management and Balance Score Card Process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application (Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript)
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Intermediate knowledge of Confluence, Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Confluence or affinity to technology with willingness to put on entrepreneurial/creative hat and eager to learn.
