Job Description

This is an internship position expected to start January 3, 2022 through mid-May 2022 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

As an intern in Dealer Network Development you will support us with data analysis within the dealer retail network planning group. You will provide document preparation for meetings internally and with large dealer groups. You will conduct market analysis of future market planning opportunities, including optimal retail location analysis and franchising activities, using respective software tools. Some of the responsibility will be gathering data and utilizing proprietary software to formulate reports and documents to support actions. You will assist with the development of presentations, dealer facility capacity planning tool, milestone tracking and corporate ID documents for BMW & MINI facility renovations.

Additionally, the intern will support Dealer Development with ad-hoc analysis of key performance indicators to facilitate management decision making. The intern will collect information from multiple departments to create executive briefing papers for dealer group meetings, grand openings and new dealer candidate meetings. You will assist the department with the renewal of dealer contracts and documents. You will provide assistance as needed with Dealer Development files and versioning.

You will also provide support to the BMW and MINI brands to define and document brand standards, in addition to providing support to the Regions on these topics. You will assist with the tracking and creating reports on the monthly status of standards compliance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics 
  • Have completed at  least 30 college credit hours at time of application (Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript)
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Additional skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau
  • Attributes: Conscientious, responsible, flexible, motivated, ability to work independently and as a part of a team, strong communication skills
  • Languages: English (fluent, oral and written)
