What does Success Look Like?
As an intern, you will focus on:
Mastering PayPal’s data warehouse to help gain insights into merchant risk
Performing data-driven behavior research and transforming the results to business cases, balancing loss mitigation with careful attention to details
Close collaboration with partners and stakeholders in Risk and in PayPal to execute PayPal’s long-term strategy

Education: student status required Bachelor / Master
Availability for 50% position or more
Proven analytical skills - A minimum score of 700 on the psychometric test (or an equivalent) or 85 and above average from top universities, in the following fields: engineering, computer science, math, physics, statistics, economy, accounting
Some experience with programming / scripting language / SQL / BI tools / Consulting
Strong business skills
Technical orientation
Excellent spoken and written English
Quick-thinker, fast learner, problem solver
Team worker, responsible and trustworthy
People person - ability to communicate and motivate
