What does Success Look Like?

As an intern, you will focus on:

• Mastering PayPal’s data warehouse to help gain insights into merchant risk

• Performing data-driven behavior research and transforming the results to business cases, balancing loss mitigation with careful attention to details

• Close collaboration with partners and stakeholders in Risk and in PayPal to execute PayPal’s long-term strategy

• Education: student status required Bachelor / Master

• Availability for 50% position or more

• Proven analytical skills - A minimum score of 700 on the psychometric test (or an equivalent) or 85 and above average from top universities, in the following fields: engineering, computer science, math, physics, statistics, economy, accounting

• Some experience with programming / scripting language / SQL / BI tools / Consulting

• Strong business skills

• Technical orientation

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Quick-thinker, fast learner, problem solver
