Job Overview
 

This internship will support the launch for HDEP2020 engine program at Detroit Diesel, with critical contribution in CDY builds, tryouts, SOP, employee training and production ramp up. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the entire engine production process and new product launching process.
 
Responsibilities


Supporting HDEP2020 Engine Operational readiness projects


- Prepare and update engine project TIP, AID & KPI reports

- Track and improve parts availability to ensure success on product tryouts and SOP

- Support shop floor tasks during tryouts and SOP

- Apply new technologies and develop new tools to improve engine launching efficiency

- Must be a student participating in a Bachelor's Program or higher (or have graduated within the past 12 months) required
- Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related field preferred
- GPA of 3.0 or higher required
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Attached resume required
- Senior status or Graduate Program students preferred
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Power BI experience preferred
