Support Engineer on New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfers from R&D and Contract Manufacturer (CM).

Support Engineer on second level failure analysis, and cost reduction through value engineering activity.

Support Engineer on improving manufacturing First Pass Yield (FPY), support manufacturing process improvement and evaluating alternate parts for End of Life (EOL) replacement.

Support Engineer on engineering activities to improve manufacturing operation key performance indicators such as quality, waste, efficiency and efficacy.

Support Engineer on cost reduction, process enhancement, material and engineering evaluation project to achieve cost and operation effectiveness.

Support Engineer on validation activities to support NPI and product transfer to local manufacturing operation.

Support Engineer on maintaining and ensuring systems and procedures are in compliance with ISO, Regulatory and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong communicator; hands on; ability to execute
• High energy level; positive attitude
• Knowledge in MS Excel Macro Programming is a plus

Interns will learn about Engineering concepts and tools such as quality systems, product and process control and design, quality methods and tools, applied statistics, SPC, and Design of Experiments (DOE). Enhance intern’s engineering expertise and effectiveness as Product Engineer with introduction to key engineering concepts and tools critical to success in the field of Product Engineering.
