POSITION SUMMARY
Perform sustaining engineering work on existing production released designs. Uses research techniques to analyze and validate design or theoretical concepts.
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS:
- Ability on the analog and digital circuits;
- Ability on the knowledge of RF circuits, knowing of the Smith Chart, the S parameter, microwave theories.
- Preferred to analyze circuits using circuit simulation software (ie. ADS, Pspice, Ansoft, HFSS, Genesys, Microwave Office, Matlab, Mathcad).
- Preferred to to read and create schematic drawings using software applications (ie. PCAD, Altium).
EDUCATION:
- University student or Bachelor graduates; Majoring in Electronic or related, good record of the communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).
- Works in a noisy industrial engineering/manufacturing lab environment using spectrum analyzers, sampling and real time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, voltage and current meters, power supplies, and special test fixtures.
- Works with and around High Power, High Voltage and High Current power sources, requiring safety training.
