Meiburg Wine Media is a dynamic communications, events and marketing agency and wine education business, working with local and international clients, mainly from the wine and drinks industry. The company is headed by the first Master of Wine in Asia, Debra Meiburg. A multi-faceted business, with both external clients and diverse business arms (including education, training, media production and publishing), it is a fast-paced and progressive company with a dedicated team of flexible, creative and self-motivated individuals.

As a Sales Intern, you will be assigned to develop business of various projects of the company according to the development of the company and the business cycle. The projects you may be assigned to include, but are not limited to, wine tasting events for private companies and/or for public, wine educational products and tools, conferences, venue rental services, and consultancy services.

Job Requirements / Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with potential and existing clients to increase opportunities to boost revenue for MWM School and the various client events that MWM is a part of
  • Develop sales brochures, proposals, quotations and tenders for enquiries and negotiating terms to secure sales opportunities to meet targets
  • Work with the event management team to identify new opportunities to deliver innovative event management services
  • Construct and maintain a prospect and client follow-up tools to keep track of the business development status
  • Participate in service and product pricing
  • Participate in creating sales strategy for an array of products and services (wine education products, training programs, and MWM Tasting Centre, etc.)
  • Participate in marketing activities to increase brand awareness and gain new clients
  • Attend trade and public events for networking and to secure new business opportunities to create a pipeline of sales opportunities
