Job Overview
Tactical Supplier Quality Engineer's (TSQE's) respond to quality defects of all purchased production components with the responsibility of finding the cause of the defect and developing a solution to keep operations running without downtime.
Responsibilities
- Problem solving assembly and machining line complaints for purchased production components
- Streamline our material return process
- Coordinate the return of defective material to the suppliers
- Create tools to measure and improve department efficiency
- Develop metrics that will measure department performance
- Standardize the TSQE process for all product lines
- Must be participating in a Bachelor's Program or higher (or have graduated within the past 12 months) required
- Supply Chain Management or Engineering Degree required
- Junior or Senior student required
- GPA of 3.0 or higher required
- An attached resume is required
- Strong project management skills preferred
- Ability to read blue prints preferred
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office preferred
- Problem solving skills preferred
- Good communication skills preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment preferred
