The Content Solutions team at The Economist Group develops and executes bespoke content-driven programmes that solve our clients’ marketing challenges in an innovative way using the full range of The Economist Group’s resources including advertising, social media and events.


We are recruiting a full-time Content Solutions intern for 3 months in Hong Kong to assist our team in executing amplification campaigns for our Thought Leadership programmes with the possibility to extend upon mutual agreement.

Please note we cannot sponsor training visas for interns so applicants must be legally allowed to work in Hong Kong.

Accountabilities

In the role you would be expected to:

  • Assist the marketing team in executing amplification campaigns for content programmes
  • Work with the marketing team as well as sales and content solutions editorial
  • Prepare social media posts
  • Upload content to relevant hubs and websites
  • Prepare post-campaign reports

Experience, skills and professional attributes

To succeed in the role you must have:

  • A passion for reading news and public affairs content, includingThe Economist, and particular interest in economics, global politics, finance, healthcare and technology
  • Previous experience in journalism, media, communications or a related field

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Social media savvy
  • Intellectual curiosity, a pro-active outlook, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to self-organize and manage several projects with different time lines at the same time, working well under pressure
