BACKGROUND

The current job holder is moving on to a new role within Mars. Hence, we are looking for his replacement.

 

THE JOB

Internal Audit as Mars functions as a line of defense to give assurance to the Audit Committee on the Controls Framework at Mars.

The job leader secures this purpose through leading or conducting performance, operational, financial and compliance audits as well as business partnering with all Mars segments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

 

KEY OUTPUTS  

As an Internal Audit Manager, you will

• Experience and evaluate the risk profiles of all our EMEA business models which vary in terms of Route to Market, Complexity, Maturity and Size
• Perform audit procedures, including developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting the unit`s processes and procedures
• Conduct interviews, review documents, develop surveys, compose summary memos, and prepare working papers
• Function as a business partner to support the Business Units in implementing the agreed management actions
• Support Internal Audit of the Future through developing audit programs for emerging risks, to use data analytics procedures in our audits and visualize insights using Power BI and Tableau
• Represent Internal Audit in Financial Controller communities to share best practices
• Provide consultation to units on effective control set ups

 

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Master`s degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
• Strong Business Acumen and the ability to quickly grasp different business models at Mars
• Work experience outside Audit in a business role is a must. Ideally in a FMCG business, E-commerce or Health business
• Integrity & Trust to ensure an objective assessment of the control’s environment
• Standing alone to defend audit observations
• Data Literacy or Data Analytical Skills (ability to turn data into insights & use visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau)
• Influencing across matrix
• Business Partnering & Collaboration
