We are recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager to be a key team member of the internal audit function. You will evaluate, test and report on of management’s systems of internal control as well as the company’s compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements utilising innovative data driven auditing techniques. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will join a high performing team that works in collaboration with the business to provide a world class internal audit function.
About the role:
- Plan, lead and execute audits, reviews, and specialist projects across AIA.
- Formulate assessments to the board, senior management, and regulators with our company’s ability to manage and control risk.
- Advise business managers on ways of enhancing their business’ capacity to manage risk.
- Lead discussions on issues and remedial action plans with leaders in the business.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual audit plan and reports to Group Office.
About you:
For this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- 3 - 6 years of internal audit experience, ideally from a Big 4 accounting firm, financial services, or insurance sector.
- Extensive risk management experience and an understanding of principles, processes, and methodologies.
- Tertiary qualification in a related business discipline, preferably professional or post-graduate qualifications such as CIA, CA, CPA or CISA
- Proven Stakeholder relationship skills and able to work with regulators and leaders alike.
- A critical and problem solver thinker who is skilled in data, IT systems and processes including analytics and visualisation tools.
- IT Audit and technology risk management knowledge (advantageous)
