Eaton Corporation is currently seeking an Internal Audit Compliance Manger for Supply Chain to join our Corporate Finance team. Up to 25% travel may be required. This position can be located at any of our US Eaton locations and allows for hybrid work. Our hybrid work model is flexible and allows for up to 2 days of remote work per week. Our Internal Audit Compliance Manager for Supply Chain Management (SCM) will lead and oversee the finance related compliance activities of the global SCM organization, which covers $10B+ of annual spend across our Direct Materials, Indirect Materials/Services, Logistics, and Global Trade Management pillars. The incumbent will provide education, enablement, and operational direction to SCM resources; as well as, implement processes to monitor adherence with Eaton policy, internal control standards, and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Essential Functions: Track the remediation of SCM-related control deficiencies & audit recommendations across all of Eaton. Investigate the root cause of issues, work with the management to design and implement sustainable resolution processes, and ensure timely resolution of issues Support the overall Finance Transformation initiative and efforts. Will be responsible for the development, review, updating, and retiring of supply chain finance specific policies. Also identify opportunities to transition key SCM financial controls and processes at the local site to division/sector level Drive standardization best practices for inventory cycle count processes across our manufacturing sites and distribution centers; to include the following: inventory classification considerations; count frequency, calculation guidelines; and reporting requirements Ensure financial due diligence process when onboarding a new supplier or updates for an existing supplier. Develop requirements for potential suppliers whose financial health is deemed risky. Coordinate and lead global internal control compliance reviews performed annually across the organization. Includes user access reviews, segregation of duties reviews, and SAP PO release strategy reviews. Perform regular compliance reviews of key Finance governance activities, including cost out / economic audits, review of suppliers with multiple payment terms, payment term alignment reviews, etc. Maintain synergy with Internal Audit, Business Segment compliance teams, GFSS compliance team, SCM Finance, and others to drive a unified and standard approach to compliance across the company When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution Minimum of 15 years’ professional experience in accounting, finance policy and internal control standards Position Criteria: Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills Financial auditing background & understanding of internal control theory Strong understanding of compliance and business processes (INV, OTC, PTP, RTR) Demonstrated problem solving skills including the ability to identify strategic approaches to ensure proactive solutions Proven ability to work diplomatically within a global functional team Experience within a global manufacturing plant environment is an advantage Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. Since this role can be based in any US location, Eaton recognizes compensation requirements may be higher or lower in some geographies and will adjust the range accordingly. The annual salary range for this role is $131,250-192,500. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
