Internal Auditor (m/f/d) – DACH

Our Global Internal Audit team is looking for an Internal Auditor (m/f/d) in the DACH-region. Your main responsibility will be conducting regular audits in our various hotels across the region and consult hotel managers and teams on best practice and potential necessary improvements. You will mainly work autonomously within the DACH-region / German-speaking countries and be based in Munich. The role will require frequent travel inside the region (ca. 40-50 %).

 

What Are Your Tasks:

• You will be part of our global internal auditing team, with a focus on the DACH/-German-speaking region
• In this role, you are responsible for and will conduct operational internal audits in the hotels and in accounting & payroll centers within DACH, independently and/or as part of a team – depending on scope
• A key part of your role is to ensure that policies and procedures in place in the hotels are up to standard and being correctly applied
• You will consult and support hotel mangagers and their individual teams, to improve effectiveness and efficiency of Group’s internal control procedures
• In addition, you are part of the greater Northern European and global Auditor-network and -team and will regularly connect and exchange with your colleagues

 

Your Experience and Skills include:

• You have a professional background in (internal) auditing/internal control or in hotel operations
• You possess a good knowledge of financial and in accounting related matters and processes
• Critical thinking and logical reasoning, combined with excellent analytical and organizational skills are among your core strengths
• You have strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• You are proactive and able to work autonomously
• Furthermore you are a strong team player
• You are fluent in German and English
