ABOUT THE ROLE

Employs expertise of internal communication to effectively disseminate AstraZeneca people strategies, policies and engagement initiatives. Prepares documents and supports the development of campaigns used in internal HR communications and employee engagement across the Poland organization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works on multiple internal communications initiatives, to deliver unified corporate and bespoke HR/People focused messages through multiple media

• Supports efforts to deliver consistent engagement and messages to employees, line managers, the HR     community and Global Stakeholders

• Develops and manages a comprehensive, integrated annual communications plan

• Develops a comprehensive stakeholder analysis and assists the HR Director at developing targeted communications

• Manages own work to ensure that assignments are delivered on time, within budget and to high standard of quality

• Helps ensure communications in line with the programs and strategies developed by more senior internal communications professionals

• Collaborates with colleagues within the HR function, Centre of Expertise’s (inc SHE) and HR BP’s to build and deliver communication and engagement interventions for business units and drive enterprise wide messages / engagement initiatives

• Supports development and consistent use of materials and messages, localizing at a Site and/or business level only where required to do

• Collects employee feedback through formal and informal channels and feeds this upward to help monitor
  the effectiveness of existing communications programs

• Makes use of feedback from past communication initiatives to improve the effectiveness
  of future internal communications

• Provides administration support for the Country HR Director and assists in the Country Budget Management

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, marketing or related field

• Some communications experience

• Ability to understand and interpret scientific and medical data

• First-rate coordination, collaboration, organization and multi-tasking skills

• Thorough knowledge of sales operations

Desirable

• Experience managing Communications professionals

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
