The Internal Communication plays an important role in the organization as it contributes to the definition of the organization culture, to channel the strategies and values through internal events, engagement plans, wellbeing campaigns for AstraZeneca people and other projects/initiatives.
As Internal Communication Specialist you will be responsible for creating and implementing the brand positioning strategy within the company, while also supporting and promoting a common shared corporate culture.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Reporting to the HR Director, you will be accountable for the definition of the Internal Communication plan in line with the Corporate Communication strategy.
The role broadly includes the following key components:
- Create the Group's Internal Communication strategic plan and the detailed internal communication ones, while also defining all relevant guidelines - both for traditional channels, and for digital ones;
- Supporting the development of the general architecture for preparing publishing plans of the Internal Communication channels and for their management, constantly monitoring their correct functioning, coordinating with IT managers and external vendors;
- Ensuring a consistent communication flow on a corporate and Therapeutic Area level by supporting internal corporate communications, product announcements, disease areas campaigns and organization updates
- Preparing content and internal communication documents for the organization to guarantee that all formats and contents are coherent with regard to the internal communication guidelines and share a unified, on-brand look and feel that reflect the company’s business priorities and strategy;
- Coordinating and implementing internal communication programmes and initiatives, and employee engagement projects, to create a sole organization cultural identity, while promoting employee loyalty, values and sense of belonging;
- Collaboration with the Senior Management Team, Business Unit Directors, External Communication and various internal stakeholders;
- Managing internal communication events for employees, both as regards content and for organizational aspects and logistics ones;
- Defining and preparing highly engaging key messages and internal communication contents that the Top Management must send to employees;
- Supporting the definition and implementation of specific communication projects working with the cross-functional teams;
- Managing the budget
- Managing all activities and Account relationship according with Company Values, Code of Conduct, Guidelines/Internal procedures and Italian legislation.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in the communication field
- Excellent Project Management skills
- Excellent English knowledge (both written and spoken)
- Fully accustomed on how to communicate on digital and social media
- Ability to work in team
- Flexibility and mediation skills
- Excellent relational and communication skills
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Internal Communication Specialist for multinational companies preferably within a Communication Department
- Knowledge of corporate context and of the organizational cultures
- Experience in a leadership support role
