Eaton’s Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Internal Controls Project Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Flexible hybrid work schedule available. Position Overview: Assist with managing the activities of the SOX team. Manage process improvement projects and support the SOX leadership team in the education, enablement, monitoring, and operational direction of Eaton's efforts to regularly improve and maintain internal controls and financial compliance.. In this function you will: Assist in the development and execution of a data analytics auditing program and the creation of tools to enhance continuous monitoring capabilities across the company. Lead projects to implement internal control improvements and to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness, including: SAP process workflow and configuration, MAPICS security reporting improvements, etc. Coordinate in Internal Control segregation of duties & access reviews program, training and review Work closely with internal audit, operations, and the senior management team to develop a strong internal control environment across Eaton Manage Sector and Corporate driven FIN projects, build collaboration with key stakeholders, and ensure that objectives and milestones are met. Provide support to the SOX leadership team, on working with Sectors and Divisions on their business issues and challenges. Work with them to design and employ sustainable solutions. To include: system challenges or enhancements, reporting needs, etc. Perform and manage ad-hoc analyses & projects at request of Senior/Sector leadership to identify root cause issues and assist in development / implementation of corrective actions. Assist in the development of the SOX internal control audit approach, scope, and scheduling Participate in internal control management validations around the globe. Perform on-site and off-site control testing using internal control test plans and analytical procedures. Perform centralized validation procedures (i.e. balance sheet review validation) covering key financial balances. Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution required Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance policy and internal control standards. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Accounting experience within a global manufacturing company, or public accounting experience, preferred.
