Job Description
Role Overview The successful candidate will report to the Internal Logistics Team Leader and be part of the Internal Logistics team who are responsible for receiving & dispatching of goods and using specialist equipment to move materials into production utilising the Kanban Replenishment process and working with our 3PL Partner The successful candidate will support logistics processes by providing cover and working with the whole Internal Logistics team. The role will require close co-ordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders along with accurate and timely communication to keep the flow of material going. What are my responsibilities? 80% of the role is spent picking orders for G120X. The remaining 20% of the role will working on the following tasks:- Following Red Ledge processes for material requirements and deliveries. Ensuring empty boxes and non milk round deliveries are actioned on time. Using FLT equipment to ensure efficient material flows Accuracy checking for goods receipting & transactional processes. Ability to demonstrate ownership culture principles supporting the success of our business To support the Logistics processes with the flow of inbound material, resolving any issues using PDCA methodology. Adherence to employment laws, company rules and regulations, work safety, ownership culture, working times, information security, 7S, company values and all elements of Essential Health and Safety are both supported and cascaded. Skills Have a working understanding of internal logistics processes and to demonstrate a proven track record of successful process improvements Authentic and constructive outlook to work responsibilities Can prove you are flexible and support shift working along with overtime commitment to support as required Have proven success at delivery to strict deadlines with an excellent attendance record Work well as part of a team and be positive and driven enough to support changes Be able to demonstrate a logical problem-solving approach ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Are PC literate and able to use MS office applications, Scanners and understand SAP. Training will be given for despatch software and Red Ledge software.
