Job Description
International Admissions Manager (International Applicants), Office of International Affairs

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage international undergraduate recruitment and admission processes at Westlake University.
2. Develop and execute marketing programs for international undergraduate recruitment, including advertisements, social media, websites, and school visits.
3. Develop and maintain partnerships with international high schools in China and overseas to attract international applicants.
4. Maintain electronic application and admission systems.
5. Manage admissions-related procedures and systems including candidate interviews, correspondence, visa applications, and the like.
6. Other tasks as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

1. Three or more years of experience as a university administrator or relevant professional role.
2. Masters or higher degree in English, Communication, Education, Education Administration, International Studies, or related fields.
3. Native or near-native level English fluency; strong oral and written communication skills; high-level ability in Mandarin Chinese.
4. Able to travel domestically and internationally.
5. Proficient with standard office software packages including Word and Excel.
6. Detail-oriented, with strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills, a proactive and responsible attitude; ability to work effectively within a team and across departmental boundaries; ability to balance and prioritize concurrent tasks.
7. Possess or acquire a strong familiarity with Westlake University and the university’s mission and goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working or studying at an academic institution abroad.
2. Experience in international student admissions.
