Job Description

Manage and support Sanofi’s engagement with key trade associations (PhRMA & EFPIA China Working Groups, RDPAC, European Chamber of Commerce in China) bilateral (Club Santé, Comité France-Chine and global platforms (WEF Annual Meeting of the New Champions)

• Support & staff China Country Chair at RDPAC (coordinate Sanofi inputs to the pricing and reimbursement WG, coordinate Sanofi’s participation to IPIF, support China GM in RDPAC executive committee election process)
• Staff Sanofi China Head of CE in his role of Co-President of the Club Santé China.
• Manage all aspects of Sanofi’s engagement – define Sanofi agenda, solicit input from relevant functions and consolidate Sanofi point of view. Serve as primary point of contact for external/internal stakeholders.

-Coordinate strategy development - ensure engagement strategy is aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.

• Identify leadership opportunities to position Sanofi as a key industry player.
• Support senior leadership participation – develop briefing, talking points in close collaboration with Communications and Public Affairs (global and local)
• Ensure appropriate representation in committees, events, working groups.
• Represent Sanofi in key meetings and events.
• Ensure through follow-ups to leverage opportunities to advance Sanofi agenda.

Manage Sanofi China’s engagement with the EU Delegation in China and the French Embassy in China (and Consulates), as well as the global PA organization linked to Franco-Sino / European relationship

• Identify opportunities for high level engagement, showcase Sanofi commitment and footprint, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support senior leader engagement as needed.
• Represent Sanofi China in key events and activities as appropriate.

Provide executive support and coordinate high level visits and annual events (IPIF

CIIE)

• Lead support for Sanofi CEO/Ex-Com visits to China and participation in high-level events: briefing notes, agenda, logistics
• Lead Sanofi China’s participation to the China International Import Expo and International Pharmaceutical Innovation Forum
• Drive China Country Chair in-country engagement: organize ad hoc meetings with key stakeholders.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree Post-graduate degree in public health or health policy related field/international relations preferred.
• Deep knowledge in market access environment in China
• Proven track record in public affairs: Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in public affairs, policy, government, advocacy or advanced responsibilities in an industry trade association, multi-lateral or global institution.
• High proficiency in Chinese, English and French ( both written and oral )
