Main Responsibilities:
1.Clients relationship management and business communication.
2.Deliver presentations, develop and execute project plan for clients, for European clients in general and German clients in particular.
3.Meet independently or as a team with existing or potential clients to introduce CDC’s services, to discuss client needs, and to advise on strategic business issues affecting their business plans.
4.Attend oversea meetings and communicate with clients about their needs and assist in resolving problems to the client’s satisfaction.
5.Work together as needed with other CDC professionals to deliver CDC services to clients.
6.Lead direct sales efforts to generate new business for CDC logistics services in key customer verticals, including automotive logistics Industrial.
7.Utilize a consultative sales approach to discover potential customer needs and develop logistics solutions options.
8.Anticipate industry trends, assess market opportunities, and craft annual business development plans.
9.Collaborate with the marketing department to develop/enhance marketing materials, proposal templates, and prospecting tools to support business development and marketing efforts.
10.Participate in networking events, conferences, roundtables and trade shows events to promote CDC International Logistics Services and obtain business development leads.

Key Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year college or university (preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation or related major).
2.Must have minimum 5 years Sales & Marketing experience, experience in automotive logistics is preferred.
3.Self-confident and organized with a demonstrated success in new business development is essential.
4.Excellent communication and presentation skills and expertise in consultative selling methods.
5.Strong computer skills with PC-based desktop applications, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, email, and web-based meeting and presentation applications.
6.Fluent English communication skills is a must. European language (German) skills or Chinese basic communication is a plus.
7.This position requires European and American expatriates, German is preferred.
