Internal Title: Export Control Professional Business Title: General Manager Location : Bengaluru Span: United States (US) Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate response to all regional requests for classification and guidance from both Varian and Siemens Healthineers Classic colleagues/customers. Utilization of the Global Classification Solution (GCS) tool as a trusted global resource for information and rationale as it pertains to classification of materials worldwide. Day to day operations for determination and maintenance of US HTS and ECCN codings for new and existing items in GCS/OneSource/SAP. Interface with related functional areas (regulatory affairs, logistics, purchasing, materials management, etc.) to assist in classification determination. Collaborate with global ECC teams on classification issues. Elevate issues requiring correction and potential risk to IC regional manager. Develop, implement, and enforces guidelines and solutions to optimize processes in your area of responsibility. Basic knowledge on Participating Government Agencies such as FDA, USDA, Fish and Wildlife, EPA etc. US Import transaction requirements. Influence business practices to implement and utilize automated solutions. Collaborate with various stakeholders (business segment management, department leadership, members of the Customs Team) on cross department activities promoting process optimization. Provide analytical support to general classification determinations, as needed. Education & other Qualification Graduate / Postgraduate with Certification on International Trade / Foreign Trade having excellent communication skills 8- 10 years of experience with at least 3 yrs in Classification and in Cross Border Trade is required Strong Knowledge on WCO , Knowledge of SAP & other ERP is preferred Organization: Siemens Healthineers Company: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited Experience Level: Mid-level Professional Job Type: Full-time
