Job description

The International Development Officer will work closely with International Development Manager in XJTLU Global Office, and responsible for development and partnering of key lead sources and international outreach to expand our recruitment capabilities, scale and scope. By the very nature of the role, this job description will evolve over time as the university grows in size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities can be described below and you may be expected to have other international projects as well assigned by management from time to time

• Assisting to develop, operationalize and promote the university new short course products
• Work with other teams to establish new workflows and the practical aspects of running new courses and entry routes etc.
• Assist in identifying and developing key lead sources (partners/ feeder schools/ agents/ companies etc.) in an assigned territory and deliver high conversion lead sources to the recruitment team and partnership team
• Help support the geographical expansion of XJTLU’s recruitment markets through market research, visits, relationship brokerage, office set-up in new countries and regions.
• Promote and develop the highest levels of team response and customer service
• To understand market trends and proactively identify challenges and opportunities that may aid marketing efforts
• To assist in market data collection and analysis
• To provide monthly report as required

Qualifications required

• Tertiary educated
• Fluency in English, Mandarin is preferred
• Experience in sales or customer relations filed, education background is preferred
• Proven track-record in exceeding direct sales targets is a must, preferably from Higher Education Industries
• Experiences in building corporation business and/or academic relationships

Personality required

• Sales driven, entrepreneurial and results-oriented
• Willingness to travel independently (potentially during national holidays) inside and outside China to countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Americas and Europe.
• Customer-service oriented, enthusiastic approach
• Good intercultural knowledge and understanding
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and targets
• A strong communicator
