We now have am opportunity for an International Distribution Co-ordinator to join our team on a 10 month Secondment/FTC. In this role, you will be responsible for transacting customer orders from allocation through to delivery to Macclesfield’s downstream customers (Market Companies, Packing Sites and 3rd Party Distributors). This includes booking freight with our contracted freight forwarders; processing, collating and sending required export documentation and responding to Customer Supply and Sourcing & Supply Complaints.
Responsible for primary global distribution serving c130 markets and delivering high levels of customer service. You will also be responsible for the Co-ordination and delivery of Registration Samples required to support Regulatory Submissions.
Responsibilities:
Proactively manage orders in ICON, through liaison with Distribution Liaison Partners, Operational Planners, warehousing and nominated Freight Forwarders. Maintaining the SAP computer system to reflect the agreed supply plan, and escalating potential customer service misses to the Customer Service Team.
Ensure the accurate allocation of stock to orders in line with agreed policies and Service Level Agreements. For the majority of orders this will be done automatically by SAP, but manual intervention will be required for best practice in stock management, where applicable.
Plan the physical distribution of products and raise transport documentation in compliance with International Road, Sea and Air Transport Legislation, monitor and review to ensure ‘value for money’ solutions.
Produce accurate documentation required by our warehousing teams, freight forwarder, UK and overseas customs, and our customer to ensure there is no impact on delivery performance.
To champion the team performance, challenging key performance indicators and delivering right first time solutions through root cause analysis across the business interfaces.
Pro-actively co-ordinate and process Registration Sample orders to ensure delivery on time.
Build and maintain relationships and ways of working with supply points for Registration Samples. These are global and cover sales packs, API and reference standards. Supply Points includes both internal AZ manufacturing sites, external companies and GES.
To manage the investigation of supply and Sourcing & Supply complaints and drive improvements where applicable.
Maintain and demonstrate compliance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines for all financial transactions from UK Operations

Co-ordination of Registration Sample requirements
Processing Machine Trials orders
Processing Named Patients orders
Running DOT report in excel spreadsheet
Running Pipeline report in excel spreadsheet
Running Holding bay report in excel spreadsheet
Essential skills:
Educated to ‘A’ Level or equivalent
High concern for standards and data accuracy
Good problem solving ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
Desirable:
ICON experience desirable
Understanding of Export Processes
