Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in gaming, advertising sales, marketing, or consulting.
  • Experience in an analytical role.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree, or PhD.
  • Experience helping clients within South East Asia and other global markets.
  • Experience working in multinational environments.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to tell stories with data and excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

As an International Growth Consultant, you'll be in a creative customer-facing role that requires effective analytical skills and business judgment. You'll be an advisor and partner to customers. From strategic planning support, identifying the right markets, to setting our customer up for success, you will provide insights and hands-on support and help them reach and exceed their international goals.

In this role, you will work closely with our advertisers to develop a deep understanding of their business needs, objectives, and decision processes. You will identify the biggest levers for success, and present unique insights that shape our customers’ plans. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally as the expert on international growth to help businesses succeed in international markets. You'll play a key role in a highly visible and exciting growth area within Google.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-impact international growth opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive international growth for an assigned portfolio.
  • Understand our customer's’ objectives, be a digital consultant to businesses looking for international opportunities, especially for e-commerce and gaming companies.
  • Understand the market landscape and develop and execute projects around international growth, impacting our clients understanding of global markets.
  • Contribute to growing international growth knowledge and resources within Google, and support other members in the network by sharing this knowledge.
