Job Description:

Tasks
* Design and install network infrastructure
* Troubleshoot, upgrade and improve existing infrastructure
* Test new technologies for possible implementations
* Source hardware equipment and organize buying lists, as applicable
* Compare and optimize local service providers
* Supervise Service Providers’ work
* Helping test and troubleshoot new hardware components
* Configuring and troubleshooting Linux OS and Apache related issues
* Audit existing infrastructure security and fill checklists
* Fixing and maintaining printers, scanners and other IT equipments
* Other tasks as required
* Responsibilities may change as the business grows and so therefore any candidate will need to be able to adapt to the changing needs of the business

Technical Attributes
* Good experience in Linux (installation, file systems, configuration…)
* Good knowledge in IP protocol, LAN, routing, VLAN
* Knowledge in Firewall (based on IPtables)
* Knowledge in VPN (openVPN and IPsec)
* Knowledge in Windows 2008 server installation and administration
* Knowledge in Active Directory
* Knowledge in network security (IP spoofing, ARP poising, windows exploits ...)
* Already have an experience in troubleshooting in networks, workstations, printers….
* Knowledge in PBX, Asterisk, or VOIP appreciated
* Knowledge in Cisco environment
* Video surveillance knowledge appreciated
* ISO knowledge appreciated

Skills/Personal Attributes
* Flexible to travel (mandatory)
* Proven ability to work well with remote teams
* Fluent in English and fluency in any other language is an advantage
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good organizational and problem-solving skills
* Excellent knowledge of internet technologies, PHP, web browsers, and HTML
* Ability to train users to simple IT tasks.
* Ability to document tasks and report to central team
