International Payroll Analyst

The role is part of Global HR Services function in more details, it’s a part of Global payroll and Time Team lead by Helen Ånestrand. International Payroll Analyst reports to International Payroll Lead.

The role is working with the monthly payroll processes for international assignee's and the related annual tax return process. The role is accountable to provide a smooth process between the Global Mobility Team, EY and local payrolls, handle partner concerns and provide overall coordination.

Job Description:

As a part of Global Payroll &Time Team, you will be accountable to provide a smooth process between the Global Mobility Team, EY and local payroll Teams to ensure correct payroll delivery for international assignees.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring an up-to-date and accurate database of international assignees compensation data is maintained and that relevant data provided to key stakeholders and third parties as required
  • Running monthly reports based on the data input prepared by Global Mobility Team and sharing the data with EY to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Comparing the Payroll instructions from EY vs. Payroll results from Local Payroll Teams and reviewing the discrepancies.
  • Collecting compensation data from countries on request from EY to support tax filling process.
  • Acting as an expert resource and problem solver with the global payroll area.
  • Managing international assignment, complex tier 3 payroll incidents and complaints – reviewing and solving actions and raise either internally or externally as appropriate.
  • Collaborating internally with Global mobility Team, Local Payroll Teams, Finance Team and Global Benefits Team to ensure timeliness and accuracy for payroll processing

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Min. 2 years of experience in processing a payroll for various countries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – English at C1/C2 level.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
  • Strong problem solving, details orientation and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Human Resources or similar preferred)
  • Background in a transactional service environment with experience of operating complex processes to agreed service levels and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently/virtually as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of colleagues and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • International and multi countries' experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of global payroll including tax and social security treatment
  • Knowledge of Global Mobility policy and processes
  • Knowledge of Spanish or French
