We are recruiting the Drama & High School English Teacher. This role primarily delivers core Drama classes alongside secondary English Language lessons. You will coach students in theatre performance, script writing and stage production, assist with students' English academic learning and exam prep, run drama extracurricular activities, and work with our diverse teaching team to build a creative learning environment.

The post commences August 2026. Applicants must hold a relevant drama-related degree and professional drama experience, with prior international high school teaching experience preferred.


Position: 
Drama Teacher*
This role centres primarily on Drama teaching, with supplementary English language lessons as a secondary duty. Candidates shall hold a drama-related degree and relevant professional drama experience:
1).Assume teacher responsibilities including classroom instruction, homeroom  mentor, product team advisor, co-curricular sponsor, and curriculum development.
2).Work school calendar of 190-200 student days, longer school day of 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and teacher calendar of 200-210 days. (Exact days of school should be in  accordance with the school calendar.)
3).Weekly classroom instructional period will be approximately 24 teaching hours  with 40-50 minutes per period.
4).Support enrichment programs.
5).Participate in required teacher training.
6).Develop school curriculum and start-up components.
7).Support an international focus across the curriculum, cross-disciplinary planning  and inquiry based learning within a schedule. 
8).Meet instructional and compliance requirements of the International School  program. 

Salary&Benefits
1.Salary Scale: 23,000 RMB to 30,000 RMB monthly  before tax as per degree and teaching experience background.
Benefits:
1.Meal Allowance: The employee is eligible meal allowance every working day.
2.Holiday Allowance: Employees may enjoy holiday allowance according to the  school's policy. Normally the holidays refer to Labor Holiday, National Holiday,  Christmas Holiday, New Year Holiday, and Chinese Spring Festival.
3.Preferential Policy of Teachers' Children Entering School: will provide  tuition-discount enrollment into the school for dependents of one teacher or  teaching family according to the school policy. 
4.Air tickets Allowance: If an employee fulfills the contract, upon the expiration of  contract, he/she will get air ticket reimbursement once a year with one round-trip or  two single-trip international air tickets (economy class--utilizing the most direct  route) between working location and her/his home country to an amount not  exceeding RMB 10, 000.
 5.Settling-in Allowance: The employee is eligible for settling-in allowance of  RMB 1,500 paid upon arrival for the first registration to the school.
6.Housing Allowance: The employees will be entitled to a housing budget and  utilities reimbursement of RMB 5000 per month in total before tax. 
7.Annual Bonus: After the teacher completes a school year's work and passes the  performance appraisal, a year-end bonus. 
8.Visa Fee: The school will reimburse up to RMB 2,000 in total for the visa issuing fee  occurred home and abroad.
9.Commercial Insurance: The employee is eligible for commercial insurance  including medical insurance, life insurance or social insurance according to related  stipulations of the state, province and municipality.
10.Annual Physical Examination: Normally the school will provide annual physical  examination free of charge for employees. 

Requirements:
1.Native English speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or Canada.
2.Non-Criminal Record: no criminal records disclosed.
3.Qualified for work perimt transfer will be highly preferred. 
4.Have the ability of integration and application of Chinese and overseas English curriculum resources.
5.Language Skills: Highly proficient in written and verbal communication with a particular  emphasis on subject area, specific competencies and emphatic communications. ESL  training and/or interest in teaching non-native English speaking students. 
6.Technical skills: Ability to use computer technology for research, data management,  communications and other instruction.
7.Reasoning Ability: Highly proficient in subject areas of: reasoning, problem solving,  organizational dynamics and emotional intelligence.
