International Trade Assistant

Job Description
As an International Trade Assistant, your tasks will vary depending on the project, and the workload will not be fixed. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and contacting local manufacturers to source suitable production resources, using various methods to discover potential suppliers;
- Assisting with procurement to ensure product quality and delivery deadlines are met;
- Communicating with factories and suppliers to ensure production schedules are on track;
- Coordinating with logistics companies to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery;
- Handling other administrative and operational support tasks based on project needs;
- Occasional travel to visit manufacturers or factories and follow up on project progress (travel frequency is low).
Job Requirements:
- Fluent in English, capable of effective communication in daily work;
- Basic understanding of international trade or procurement processes, with the ability to source suppliers through various channels (e.g., online platforms, trade shows, etc.), and knowledge of supply chain management;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to establish effective relationships with local suppliers and manufacturers;
- Adaptable, able to manage lighter workloads when necessary and efficiently handle busy periods;
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment;
- Strong sense of responsibility and patience, able to work effectively in a simple, direct work environment;
- A team player eager to learn from an experienced leader;
- Previous experience in international trade is a plus; proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, etc.) is preferred.
