ST&R HK is looking for a consultant in join its Customs and International Trade Consulting practice. The role would offer an exciting opportunity to deal with the trade war related issues between China and US. ST&R HK offer international exposure that allow our consultant to work with our US team and travel across countries. 

Responsibilities

As a consultant, you will be providing assistance in handling a wide range of important duties:

• Conduct research on Free Trade Agreement, global trade control laws and regulations
• Provide clients advice on Strategic operation planning and supply chain structure
• Study supply chain structure, provide cost-shifting solutions to maximize duty savings
• Due diligence on documented evidence ensuring compliance of customs and trade regulations
• Conduct proper review on the transaction value of the transactions and prepare financial analysis
• Participate in meetings and compile reports
• Provide guidance to all internal and external party on completing and submitting the documents required for appropriate trade compliance project
• Conduct annual Customs audits for clients and review import / export transactions to ensure compliance with and current licensing and reporting requirement.
• Occasional overseas travel is required. 

Qualifications Background

• University degree or above in relevant disciplines
• 0 - 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably have trade compliance experience

• Strong project management and multi-tasking capabilities;
• Good interpersonal skill, independent, and self-motivated;

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications;
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both spoken and written. 
• Immediate available/short notice is preferred;
