Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, Asia, this role will support the data analytics team in model development, data analysis and enhancement.

Starting in May or June 2019, this internship or business attachment programme lasts for 3-4 months. Work arrangement can be full-time, or on a part-time weekly basis, or on an agreed no. of hours weekly. This experience allows the intern to learn to operate within an enterprise environment, practice business basics and project management, and gain understanding of digital and technology practices. 1 hour per week will be dedicated to learning on any Business/ Digital/ Technology topic of choice.

Major Responsibilities

• Predictive model development (design and development) by leveraging the skillset of predictive model and machine learning algorithms
• Translate model results into practical & analytical solutions – from data requirement identification, analytic data processing and transformation, visualization to model development and implementation, and key business metrics tracking and measurement
• Identify and produce the enhanced data collection sources, transformation procedures, verification and exploratory analysis etc. for building up analytics foundation and brick

Specialized Knowledge/ Skills

• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Interested in leveraging data & analytics to solve real business problems
• Ability to learn fast, enthusiastic, curious and with good personality

Education and Experience

• 2nd/ 3rd year undergraduate, or postgraduate (approaching master degree)
• Studies in mathematics, statistics, science, finance, or any quantitative related degree
