In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work in a professional procurement organization and learn the profession of a B2B buyer in indirect procurement.

You are responsible for

• Contributing to resolve business situations supervised by procurement professionals

• Helping to lead, articulate, and execute projects and improvements that serve the team goals of savings, compliance, and execution.

The tasks mainly include but are not limited to :

• Making supplier spend analysis and identifying negotiation levers to support the procurement managers

• Contribute in building relationship, negotiating and achieving savings and making contracts for assigned suppliers. Possibly leading your own price and/or service negotiation

• Cooperating with stakeholders and multi-functional team on assigned projects and provide advice to internal customers for assigned scope

• Supporting deployment of the Philips Procurement policies

• Maintaining data and systems supporting management of the supply base

• Reviewing Purchase order requests and ensuring related risks are controlled and mitigated

You are a part of

Market Procurement Benelux team of Philips Indirect Materials and Services (IMS) Procurement. This organization is responsible for all procurement activities and total indirect spending for Philips.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Currently studying towards your (final-year) Bachelor/Masters in Business administration or a related study with an interest in Procurement.

• Clear communication skills.

• Accurate and strive for quality

• Comfortable with Excel (pivot tables) and Powerpoint.

• Skilled in data analysis is a strong plus.

• Have international work or study experience

• Be independent, motivated, and self-driven with an interest in procurement

• Fluent in written and spoken English
