To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Production Engineering intern for 6 months in our Waldbronn office.

Joining the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will follow established techniques to design, develop and improve the products, processes and components that make us world leaders, and be supported and encouraged to expand your skills and knowledge every step of the way.

Our manufacturing team for ScreenTape is responsible for an automated and scalable production of innovative, miniaturized and proprietary consumables used in our automated gel electrophoresis systems. During this internship you will focus on the implementation of a Fourier-Transform Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-NIR) device in our process chain to guarantee best quality of our product. The work begins with theoretical understanding of the FT-NIR method followed by preparation of calibration samples and the development of a calibration method. Finally, you validate the developed method and support the implementation of FT-NIR in the production line.
