Daimler Mobility AG’s Corporate Investment Management team is recruiting an intern for up to 6 months starting as soon as possible.


At Corporate Investment Management we are responsible for the venture investment portfolio focusing on car based mobility services and digital business/services ventures.


The portfolio currently includes more than 15 leading mobility providers such as Daimler & BMW’ Joint Venture ‘YOUR NOW’ with its sub-brands SHARE-, FREE (former mytaxi), and CHARGE NOW, China-based premium ride-hailing Venture ‘StarRides’, as well as mobility brands like ‘Blacklane’, ’Bolt’ and the digital sales platform ‘HeyCar’. Our goal is to leverage the strategic and financial contribution for Daimler and to foster the ventures growth plan to profitability.

Corporate Investment Management offers the opportunity to:

• Gain first-hand experience at a Corporate Venture fund with a global scope and a portfolio of mainly mobility companies
  
• Being the interface between start-ups and corporate world and thus shaping the future of start-ups both on a strategic and operational level
  
• Tracking portfolio performance as well as preparing and presenting internal reports and answering ad-hoc request
  
• Work with internal stakeholders e.g. accounting, controlling, M&A and legal among others and provide excellent support for them
  
• Prepare market, industry and business model analyses, support M&A projects and work on company valuations
  
• Implement own projects in relation to the portfolio companies in a fast-pace and dynamic working environment with a highly motivated team
