In the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center (MTC) we design the next generation of automobiles. At the locations Sindelfingen (vehicle development) and Untertürkheim (engine and power train development) the brands owned technical Know-how is concentrated. With an investment volume of 700 Mio. Euro a place was created where 9500 developers work together with 3000 colleagues from other departments like purchasing, development, production or distribution. Our system partners who are cooperate very closely with the internal teams are on the ground as well.

In the department of strategies and concepts of passive safety/child safety concepts were generated to improve the vehicle safety.
Your tasks include the following key responsibilities:
- preparation, implementation and analysis of tests (component-/ sled-/ crash tests) on the subject of accident safety of adults and children in order to ensure the series quality
- support of the development of child restraint systems
- execution of benchmark-investigations, especially in the area of child safety including to create and maintain a benchmark-database
Studies: mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, production technology, aerospace technology or similar
Language skills: Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German
IT skills: Experiences with MS-Office
Soft skills: You are motivated and have a structured working method, You have organizational skills, are communicative and able to work independently as well as in a team
