The role:
As intern within our IT department you are supporting us with for monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks in a fast-paced environment encompassing Microsoft and Apple end-point technologies.
Further you have the chance of working as part of an Agile scrum team containing both onshore and offshore resources responsible for both front and back end developments on Microsoft and SAP based backend applications as well as AWS and Azure cloud solutions.
Your responsibilities:
Independently resolving support requests and service tickets and continuously monitor systems, hardware and software.
Support the team to identify, diagnose and rectify any issues in computer hardware, software, services, applications, servers, storage, and networking technology.
Collaboratively investigate problems and offer reactive and proactive support to business units taking into consideration the criticality of the issues.
Actively support in overall project management, time estimation, resource scheduling, requirements analysis and the creation of design specifications, deployment guides, test plans, or project work plans.
Learn about engineering principles to create software and participate in the software development life cycle through connecting the business needs with applicable technology solutions.
Participate in the creation and development of support documentation, training manuals and knowledge base articles.
University enrolled for Bachelors degree (ideally a Masters degree) in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic experience in administrating IT systems as well as knowledge about managing IT projects gained in university classes.
First touch points in Windows, MacOS/iOS and Linux administration as well as knowledge in Office 365.
Basic knowledge in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Python or Perl is a plus.
First work experience as working student or during internships working in IT within a corporate environment or professional services firm is preferred.
Spoken and written English and German; further language skills are welcome.
