Our IT Services professionals are the essential link between the potential of what's possible and build trusted advisor relationships with technology vendors. Taking on a customer facing technical role, you’ll get to grips with the world’s most advanced technologies, see new products come to market and introduce cutting-edge technology solutions to our customers. We have some of the world’s biggest companies as clients. If you like the idea of developing technical solutions to help them overcome their business problems, this is the role for you.

Technical Account Manager
Overview
A Technical account manager (TAM) is a trusted business advisor to Microsoft's Premier Support customers. By maintaining a long-term relationship with customers, you will gain a thorough understanding of the organization's IT goals, pain points, and the IT team's impact on overall business. You will use this information to create a service delivery plan to make sure customers are finding success with Microsoft products.
Responsibilities
You will provide valuable on the operation and optimization of their IT infrastructure through quality Service Delivery Management. If something unexpected occurs after a Premier customer has deployed a Microsoft product, you will work with Global Business Support (GBS) to manage the incident to resolution and follow up to make sure there's either operational improvement for the customer or a product improvement underway at Microsoft.
Qualifications
Role-specific qualifications
- Confidence to manage executive relationships, both internally and with customers, to create business transformation.
- Combining business acumen with technological experience.
- Microsoft Product Certification, ITIL / similar ITSM knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Pursuing a full time Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, IT Security, STEM related technical discipline (ie math, physics) is a big advantage.
- On track to graduate in 2020 from full-time Bachelor or Master program
- Working experience in technical consulting, IT security, IT solutions deployment, IT support is a huge benefit.
- Technical background, e.g. with software coding experience in both class work and external projects, Excel.
- Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills
- Excellent communication skills and superior customer-service oriented skills desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- Passion for technology and working with customers.
- Desire to build a long-term career at Microsoft in a similar function, particularly as part of our Microsoft Graduate program.
- Fluency in both English and local language.
- Full unrestricted work authorization.
- Desire to build a long-term career at Microsoft in a similar function, particularly as part of our Microsoft Graduate program.
- Available to start on January 2020 (able to work full-time or part-time from January 2020)
- Able to work full-time from September 2020 if required.
