Responsibilities:

• Perform Japanese to/from English (or Cantonese/Mandarin) simultaneous or consecutive interpretation tasks, such as conference, business visits, meetings, etc.

• Follow up formal certification procedure for the certified or notarized interpretation service, such as attending public notary and declaring in writing and on oath.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Interpretation, Linguistics, Communications, Translation or any other language-related discipline.

• Japanese native speakers with minimum of 5 years of solid professional experience in simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation
• Excellent interpretation skills in Japanese to/from English (or Cantonese/ Mandarin).
• Familiar in using SI equipment.
• Capable in taking SOLO simultaneous or consecutive interpretation jobs would be a plus.
• Presentable, organized, attention to detail and independent.
• Accredited and certified by the relevant industry associations would be an advantage.
