About The Role:
RWS provides interpreters and associated services across the globe to enable the clear communication and smooth running of meetings and events where participants communicate in a variety of languages.
We are looking for an Interpreting Manager to join our team to co-ordinate and manage interpreting projects, build strong customer relationships and help to grow the business.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with new and existing customers on a day-to-day basis and responding to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Building customer relationships and monitoring account activity for growth potential and any changes in sales patterns
- Co-ordinating and overseeing all stages of a project from initial receipt of request through to delivery of the project to the customer. This includes scoping, planning and managing the progress of projects, selecting resources, liaising with all parties, quoting in line with target project margins, maintaining up-to-date records in our management systems and processing work in accordance with our Quality Management System
- Ensuring financials of projects are processed on a timely basis and prepared for invoicing
- Communicating and interacting with other members of the division and company & contributing to team meetings
- Supporting other team members to allow them to perform and complete their daily project tasks and make recommendations and proactively support process improvements
- Working closely with interpreters and other suppliers to ensure excellent customer service for all projects
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time for the benefit of the business as a whole.
Requirements:
- Experience in the localization industry
- Excellent English and French communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience delivering interpreting projects or event management
- Ability to organise and co-ordinate travel and logistics arrangements
- Proven customer service focus
- Strong commercial skills
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Attention to detail and quality
- A team player and a good communicator
- Innovative mindset, always keen to implement improvements
