Eaton’s Vehicle Division, is currently seeking an Inventory Analyst based at our Eaton Logistic Center, in Indianapolis, IN. This position serves as the lead for inventory management data analysis, monitor performance metrics and execute action plans to address opportunities for improvement within the Eaton Logistic Center, Canada sites and our Reman network locations within Vehicle Group North America. This position will closely align with the division team to create and maintains the monthly inventory rolling forecast for North America Aftermarket distrubution center. The role requires active teamwork with Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations and Plants Materials team. This individual will work closely with the materials planning and plant operations teams on daily to maintain inventory levels in min-max range, address inventory in non-nettable sub-inventories, slow moving, excess and obsolete inventory for disposal. This will include updating and maintaining min-max information for publishing, tracking, and driving metrics as part of the SIOP processes. This position will also be responsible for various performance metrics including inventory value, DOH, cycle count accuracy and inventory forecast accuracy. Essential Functions: Create and update the monthly inventory rolling forecast for Division financial rolling forecasts. Execute the monthly inventory plan to achieve inventory dollars and DOH goals Determine and maintain precise inventory entitlement to support customer service levels Analyze trends in demand, allowing for the inventory classification and planning of each part. Manage and maintain safety stock and min max utilizing inventory assortment and classification. Controls inventory value and consistently evaluating overmax inventory to look for reduction opportunities Manage execution of excess/obsolete material controlled working closely with finance Manage intercompany requests in case material is being overpulled by the manufacturing plants Manage cycle count process, root cause analysis and drive for inventory accuracy improvements. Communicates proactively on the aging ASN with material planning and site lead Create Profit plan inventory targets in an annually basis Deploy and manage warehouse slotting to intelligently plan picking locations within the distribution center Lead continuous improvement projects within Inventory management processes Create and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Problem solving skills, team attitude, ability to speak to different levels of the organization Technical knowledge in ERP (Oracle) business intelligence platforms (OBIEE, Qlikview), Miscrosoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and product knowledge.
