Eaton’s Electrical sector is hiring a Inventory Clerk on 1st shift to join our team. The position is based at our Fontana, CA facility. Under the direction of the Quality/Inventory Supervisor, the Inventory Clerk role will support in maintaining location and inventory accuracy via cycle counts, investigation of inventory discrepancies, and reconciliation through inventory adjustments for multiple product lines. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours In this position you will: Collaborate with Inbound and Outbound departments to develop a strong base knowledge of their functions to support investigations and reporting of inventory discrepancies. Analyze and investigate transactional data for styles to determine root cause of discrepancies. Documentation and reporting of investigation results with the appropriate teams to drive continuous improvement. Use available system tools including WMS, Vista, Sterling Business Center, and MS Office as needed for analysis, investigation, and reporting. Apply Eaton product knowledge to assist in driving location and inventory accuracy improvements. Count with a high level of quality and integrity to ensure accuracy. Make the necessary system adjustments while following the approval process. Provide support during Physical Inventory planning, testing post activities. Utilize slotting tool to help determine where product should be stored and maintained. Use critical thinking and data analysis to continually improve our inventory strategies. Provide additional support in other areas based on business needs and/or as assigned by management. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours Qualifications Basic Requirements: High School or equivalent from an accredited school Certified to operate MHE equipment Eaton product knowledge Consistent high performance in quality measurements Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision Attention to detail Must be responsive to customer requests both internal and external Strong written and communication skills Basic computer skills (e.g. computers, printers and email) Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based operational needs.
