Outputs:

• Co-ordination of the Inventory Control operation in all BMW warehouses, VPRD and external warehouses.
• Co-ordination of external service providers (Cycle counting service providers).
• Inventory auditing, system corrections and reporting.
• Compile daily cycle counting capacity plan to ensure critical parts are audited for inventory accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts on parts to ensure system and physical stock figures are matched.
• Audit physical logistics operations to ensure process adherence and inventory accuracy.
• Analyse and document cycle counting activities and processes.
• Review daily cycle count results.
• Ad-hoc projects in line with material planning department functionality.
• Inventory system corrections.

Minimum requirements:

• National Diploma in Logistics or business administration.
• At least 4 years professional experience in the automotive or related industry and 2 years within a logistics material planning department
• Knowledge of BMW organization and operating procedures.
• Supply Chain Planning & Quality experience.
• Cross functional knowledge in Logistics
